Woodberry Forest Field Trip

June 6, 2013 - The Grizzly Gardeners had the most delightful field trip to Woodberry Forest School.  Sue Dickson, Woodberry horticulturist, introduced us to members of her team, showed us the tools she uses and her journal. She described to us how she plans the gardens and ensures they are maintained properly by her team.  We walked through some gardens and she introduced us to some of her favorite plants, found some "mites", and she demonstrated some gardening tips and tricks.  We had such a wonderful time and learned so much in the process.  We are so lucky to have such great neighbors.  Thanks Sue for being such a gracious hostess.

Thanks Southern Exposure!
