Pumpkin Painting
October 24, 2014 - The gardeners celebrated their final fall meeting by painting and decorating pumpkins. Various colors of paint from which to choose were placed outside on a cloth tarp, and the gardeners could select beans, pasta shapes, and hemlock pinecones for decoration. The pumpkins were proudly displayed around classrooms and other indoor locations.
Spooky or Funny?Gardeners used a variety of methods to decorate their pumpkins. Some of the older gardeners shared acrylic paint pens to create little scenes on their pumpkins. The younger gardeners used sponge brushes and imagination!
