Planting Large Outdoor Planters and Making Cards
April 25, 2014 - Gray, rainy skies did not dampen the gardeners' spirits! The older gardeners who wanted to plant in the large, outdoor planters in preparation for Grandfriends Day did so, while the younger gardeners set to work on some mixed media cards for an ongoing project. The results are beautiful, and the gardeners look forward to sharing with friends and teachers.
A Grizzly Gardeners TraditionPreparing the planters for Grandfriends Day has become something of a tradition. Mrs. Tina and Mrs. Regina sorted the flowers by shade-loving or sun-loving, and the gardeners set to work filling planters. Even though planting was suspended due to a storm, several gardeners and Mrs. Tina returned to complete the project when the weather was clear.

Crafting CardsThe younger gardeners had an equally important mission indoors. They were tasked with completing the terra cotta pots project started during the last meeting, complete with cards. Foam stickers, markers and crayons were used to create one-of-a-kind cards for some lucky recipients!
